The North East CMA is responsible for coordinating integrated catchment management and sustainable land and water use in Victoria’s North East.
Directly responsible for:
Managing river health, Managing floodplains, Coordinating water quality management, Supporting Landcare groups and other community based natural resource management groups, Administering regional funding and grants, Facilitating access to external grant programs, The CMA assists in the development of regional natural resource management priorities. Our work in these areas is guided by the North East Regional Catchment Strategy,

Certified International Park Professional (CIPP)

The Ifpra Academy recognizes that there are park professionals who continually impact the international profession. The Certified International Park Professional (CIPP) is the highest designation achieved through the Ifpra Academy. All interested individuals must currently hold a CPP either through a letter of articulation or through direct application with the Ifpra Academy.

The Urban Specialist Group of IUCN’s World Commission on Protected
Areas is concerned with the many links between human settlements and larger environments, focusing on the particular role of protected areas.
The specialist group came out of discussions that started in 2000 among several people long active in IUCN who were concerned about the absence of urban dimensions on the global conservation agenda. This informal group found that others active in IUCN had been thinking along the same lines, and the circle gradually widened.
