Our Mission

Cleardale was the name of our family farm but has a long family history. Clear and Cleary are Irish family names and we are part of the famous Irish Cleary Department Store family.  Dale, is a clear reference to the land and hence the farm both in Ireland and Australia.

The majority of CEO’s and thus organisations fail to achieve their potential even with the best teams and especially when they are all on the same page.  History has shown us that the “page” needs to be tested as JFK’s Bay of Pigs episode highlighted the dilemma of “group thinking”.

“How could I have been so stupid?” –  President John F. Kennedy asked that after the Bay of Pigs fiasco.“

Our History

Welcome, with a long career in the park and natural resource sector at a national and international level, I was challenged about how could I contribute as life moves on and in 2015 I started to document my thoughts and passion regarding Leadership and Innovation in the Parks sector.  This led me to establishing the “Parks4Life” site and to me documenting my ideas of #RethinkingParks.

Following the response to “Parks4Life” and speaking international regarding the future of parks and the need to #RethinkParks, I realised that there is more that I can offer and as a result established Clear Dale Consulting (ABN: 52118083084) (Cleardale Consulting).
