My Experience:
I have over 25 years of experience in both national and international natural resource management. With qualifications include a Bachelor of Forest Sciences and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Prior to taking up the position of Chief Executive Officer of the North East Catchment Management Authority, I was employed as General Manager with Parks Victoria where I oversaw a division providing policy and strategy, statewide program coordination and specialist advice to the Victorian Government.

I was responsible for the concept and establishment of Parks Victoria and the Healthy Parks Healthy People Concept – which is recognised as a significant change in park management international.

I frequently speak international on the future of parks especially regarding leadership, innovation and design legacy.
I am the Deputy World Chair at the World Urban Parks organisation and was the founding Chair and a Trustee of the Parks Forum, a former Commissioner for the International Parks and Recreation Administration (IFPRA). I am a Member of the World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA).
